In share market shares are bought and sold.It is a part of a stock market.In stock market besides share of market,mutual funds,bonds and contracts  are also traded.There are two types of share markets-Primary share market and Secondary share market.

In primary share market a company enters to raise funds.Secondary shares are those where investors buys them.

It is a source of companies to raise funds and investors to buy part ownership in growing business and grow their wealth.
Investors earn a part of the profits earned by the company.

Most of the peoples are now a days investing money in share market,mutual funds etc.These are risky investments but the returns/profits in these markets are large if everything goes well for the company.They totally depend on the market.
